If you switch out to 3.73's hes going to pull on you harder. Gears give the motor leverage at the sacrifice of top end speed. The more gear, the more torque multiplication. The gears are good, all you need now is more power and some sticky tires.

Also, hes probably pulling on you because its a Mach 1.

I am looking at getting 4.10's, what bolt ons could help him not get pulled on in third. I am wondering because I dont want that happening to me. Think a CAI and a Diablo tuner could help that a bit if I get it professionally tuned? Thanks.

What do you have now? I would start with your exhaust (cat-back, o/r midpipe at min., and l/t headers if you can), and then move to the intake side and get a CAI, t/b and plenum.

All I have now are flowmaster mufflers. I didnt put them on but when I got the car I went under it to look at some stuff and found out the previous owner had put them on. They look brand new. But thanks for the input on my mods. I have looked into getting a new throttle body and plenum. Just need to know brands and should I go with the 75mm? Let me know. If you could give me a good site to get the best prices on the throttle body and plenum then send it to me, I would be glad to look at it. Thanks.

I got mine from www.mustangtuning.com. I went with the Accufab 70mm TB/Plenum combo.

BicketyBam- Could you tell a difference with the plenum and throttle body? So you would say 70 mm is the way to go.

Anyone else- Is accufab a good brand for throttle body and plenum? And is 70 mm the way to go or is there even a big difference? Any opinions help...So post away!

accufab is a good throttle body if you are going with the accufab tb and plenum get the 70mm tb, i went with a c&L plenum test shows this plenum works best with a 75mm tb
