it makes sense if you think about it. i dont agree with the .2-.3 tenths but i still think it may hurt your performance. i almost bought it and spent hours researching it...then decided to go with a pp 75mm tb and accufab plenum
I was calling the 2-3 tenths dumb. I would agree the 75mm would probably be slightly better for a mild N/A set up, but you really wont see much a difference from the extra 3mm's, nothing you will feel. On an N/A setup, all TB/plenums will usually be within a few hp from each other, but if boost is ever in the plans, just go big.

I know a 75mm TB/plenum makes power because my car picked up a tenth at the track from it. I've seen dynos where a basically stock GT made more power with a 75mm than a 70mm.

And I believe BBK made their "throttle plenum" 78mm because any more would be wider than the lower intake would allow flowing into it.

who cares about f/i? when i put it on my car that was already blown, i picked up a whopping 6RWHP/TQ. quit acting like it's the end all mod for fi/i.

Would it be a good set up if one planned on heads and cams?

I had the bbk 78 mm on my car. It ran good. It didn't "lose power". Made a huge diff in throttle response! The only issue i had was getting my JLT cuppling to fit over it. I had to boil the damn thing to get it to work with me. but other than that, no issues.

I still have it if one of you are interested in it? Dont need it anymore.
