Default i just changed my brake pads and rotors

and when im driving down the road i dont know if its just me or i feel if like my car is braking by its self. how can i check. i am pretty sure i installed everything right. thanks

Jack it up and see if the wheels spin freely.

ok well they spin freely, i didnt jack the car up high enough, but how freely should it spin, i feel a little of resistance

Did you change the front and/or rear pads or rotors? Is your parking brake completely off?

Well if they are new pads and rotors, they will rub for awhile no matter how far you push the pistons in. It shouldn't be alot though. how hard is it braking. do you notice when accelerating or is it when you let off the gas and you can feel that it is slowing down faster than normal?

i only did the front brakes. i only notice when i let my foot off the gas.....

some people may disagree but this may help. Drive down the road and lightly ride on the brake pedal for a couple hundred feet to kind of break the pads in.

Did everything fit back together well? Did you use all of the metal clips to secure the pad onto the caliper bracket?

well like tim99gt said they may rub for a while. If you ride the brakes for a little bit it may get taken care of.
