Default Boost Loss

How much boost will I loose with 9:1 compression vs my stock 9.6:1 and 10lbs of boost?

not to be rude, but why does it matter? with the lower c/r you can run more boost!

You won't lose any boost. But you will be able to add timing or add boost.

I talked to Andersons, MMR, and MPH and they all said that my buddy is loosing boost because he lowered his compression. Andersons even told me that they think that ANY motor under 15lbs of boost should run 10.5:1.

that just doesn't make sense to me, how can you lose boost by running a lower C/R?

IDK but three companies with good reputations agree that your boost will go down with lower compression and i seen it first hand in my buddies engine. The only thing they couldn't tell me is by how much mine would drop.
