Default Throwout Bearing?

Irecently bought a '98GT with 33k miles, now a couple of weeks later I am hearing a high-pitched chirping that comes and goes. If I slightly lift up on, or press on the clutch pedal the chirping goes away. Kinda sounds like a TO bearing to me, but wanted to get other opinions. Any issues you guys know of with the clutch cable or adjusting mechanism?

Thanks

something will get messed up, but it takes a while, some people will go like 10k with a bad to bearing.

what will get messed up? I thought a bad TOB was noting to worry about other than being an annoyance.

i too am hearing the same noise. Im going to do a clutch cable kit from Maxim Moto. (cheaper then doing a throw-out plus gives me a good excuse to get it hehe) if i countinue to hear the noise, then guess its time for a TOB
