how about JB weld?..is there neway i could use this to attach the intake to the plenum...idc if it ever comes apart again

From what I've read this is a very good intake. You don't loose low end torque with it like you do the others.

sounds good and all but thats pretty pricey for a few horsies

This is one of the alternatives that was mentioned. Some of the others are even more expensive.

The stock intake maniford is actually a pretty good manifold unless you are using nitrous and need something more durable. It's also a lot less expensive than the alternatives.
