Default How much for a clutch...

Went to the track today for the 1st time. Did 4 runs and on the fourth run clutch goes out. Just wondering how much for a clutch install and what brand clutch should I buy? Anyone ever had one installed by the Ford dealer??

ill be taking my spec 2 with 6 bolt flywheel out in about a week. ill sell it for 150 shipped. only has about 2000 miles on it. and install isnt that bad. any work from ford will cost you an arm and a leg maybe even some more body parts.

I would not let the ford dealer do the work, if you can't do it find a good mechanic or family owned shop to do it.
When an old lady hit my first mustang ford did the repairs....took forever, lost parts and did poor work.

The car has the Ford Motor Credit Warranty. Will it be covered?

If you do the work probably not, however putting aftermarket parts in also usually void warranties.

I would do thw SPEC stg 3. its a great durable unit.....now i need tires haha. Makes it "Feel" like shes got more power. ALso install it your self not hard at all.....aint nothin to it but ta do it.

The only tools you need are two jacks, some short 2x4's 4 jack stands, slide hammer, and a socket set. Im 20 and i did it with my dad who has no knowledge of cars.
