I vote 4.10s and new Diff, dont worry about your speedo, just save up for a tuner later

Im still curious as to weather cutouts would gain as much HP or more than any other exhaust setups, but yea i will fix my differential before anything else.

Almost all i ever read about on cutouts is they leak and sound like crap. you are not going to gain a lot of power with an exhaust setup unless you get headers. you can find them for around 400 to 500 if you dont want gears.

Save up a little more and get the rear fixed with 4:10's. You won't be sorry.

the 4.10s will be the best bang for your buck...and you need to let the exhaust cut-out thing go. They sound like total poop. If you prefer that your car sound fast rather than be fast then do the exhaust set-up 1st (not saying that to be mean...i did it that way). If you are looking to not bust up your rear worse than I would suggest fixing that and throwing some 4.10s in it. Good luck.

next oil change is when ill get this stuff done, still have like 2k miles on this synthetic oil so im waiting until then.. i guess im going to have it done at the autoway ford that has serviced my car so far, i have an owners advantage card and can print out a 15% discount coupon online.

whats the difference in 1/4 mile times with 4.10 gears compared to stock? and would this only be applicable if i got some DR's?

also - anyone know if a muffler delete frees up some HP? it would reduce some weight too and still have catalytic converters...

DRs will def. help, but if you are really interested in making the car faster you need to check out the "how to" sticky it has a couple of threads in it that basically tell you what it takes to get the most out of your 2v gt.

EDIT: And we already told you that the cut outs sound like crap...going mufflerless is not going to be much better, just more piping. Its your car though, so do what you like. I suggest hitting up you tube or streetfire to get some exhaust ideas. power will be all but the same from any set-up you choose so its basically down to sound preference then.

Let me reiterate: Don't get a muffler delete, the 4.6 needs a muffler to have a nice tone.

If you want some cheap sound I can help you out, I've got some flowmaster mufflers I'll sell you. They are 2 chambers and I want to switch to single chamber race mufflers.
