The big difference though is year of car. If you have a newer car with the 3650 you can get 4.10s. The T-45 and T-5 cars would be revving pretty high on the highway with 4.10s.

I tach exactly the same RPM at 70 with 3.73s as Jdaniel did in his GT with 4.10s, just due to the different 5th gear in the transmissions.

BTW, switching from 3.73s to 4.10s isnt worth it, you might as well spend the money on something else. (if you already have 3.73s I mean).

it's about a 200 RPM difference betwenn 4.10s and 3.73s.

I have the 4.10s in an '03 GT manual and it's great. The 4.10s seem to shift right into the powerband and you end up pulling the same all through the RPM range, but I have never driven a 3650 GT with 3.73s so I can't compare.

So it seems everybody loves their 4:10's. I have a 1998 GT with the t-45? tranny. I dont drive on the highway much so revvin it up wont be a huge issue.

that's why i'm not switching. i can't justify spending another $500 on gears again.
