I just purchased a Mustang and Im almost finished getting rid of the christmas lights on the dashboard, im sure you guys have seen most of my posts. I have a question though. Does a 2000 Mustang GT come with some form of LSD (anything to keep both tires spinning in the back). I've heard of something called lock, i want to know if my car has it.

I believe that Traction-lok (Ford's name for a clutch type LSD) was standard on all 4.6L Mustangs, I do not see it listed as an option on any in the Red Book.

Yea... your car comes with fords version of posi traction... i think cliffy is right on with traction-loc... but with a c not a k... i think... lol.

With a "k", look in your owner's manual...

The only way to find out if yours is functioning is if you do 2 wheel burnouts instead of 1.. mine happened to be worn out when i got my car. I 1st noticed when i failed to do a donut or slide out turning right.. it works turning left though.

i need to get it rebuilt with an upgraded carbon disc clutch pack
