I dont see why you cant run a high 7 in current form. What were your times last time? All you need is a drag radial and you should be well into the 7's. My bolt GT with M/T D/R's and stock suspension runs 8.3's.

The set up on street tires 1,800 - 2,400 RPM
The set up on Drag radials 2,600 - 3,400 RPM

Would be a good starting point

With your power all you need is a good set of DR's, good burn out, and driver mod to be in high 7's probably

chances are, because those of us with good suspension set ups get asked CONSTANTLY about them, which is fine, im all for helping... but... i can show you more then once on the 1st page here or in gen dis where my suspension set up is listed and launch pics are shown.

butagain...
90/10s
50/50s
summit uppers/lowers
stock springs
235/60/15 m/t drag radials

got me low 1.8s on motor, and mid 1.6s on a 100 shot

i DD the car, and the struts are fine on the street, no it doenst handle great, but what drag oriented set up does... if you want, get strange10ways up front, and itll handle good too. theres a pic in my thread about emailing my tuner, theres a thread titled launch pics, and my timeslip threads all have pics of the car launching.

I want to change the rear gear also. Its holding me back. I spin through first, and the beginning of second. Then make it through third and the race is over. If there was a quarter mile track around I would be able to show what the car could do. Even now my trap speeds are impressive. So next season I will start with a gear change and set of drag radials and see how much difference that will make for me. I want to do a line loc and msd 2 step to be more constitant. I will try to find some slips, but my best time last season on street tires and like 2.2.-2.4 60ft times I was hitting the 8.6-8.9 range all day. It sucks to not be able to hook up. I need more practice I think too.
