Default buying a blower...what else to get?

I'm picking up a Vortech (used for under 1K miles) for around $3K for my mach..

Vortech V2SQ Super Charger
3.33 Pulley
New Altered Upper Radiator Hose
Inlet tube w/K&N filter
Discharge Tube with temp sensor installed
Vortech bypass valve
SCTBAP2400 MAF
42# Ford Racing Green Top Injectors

I only want to make around 450hp (stock block restrictions)
What other mods will I need, besides a nice dyno tune?

more beer. You'll also need a SVT Ford Focus fuel pump, cobra fuel tank w/ pumps, or a Kenne Bell Boost A Pump. Do you have all the oil feed and return lines? You need a 3/8" NPT tap for your oil pan. I can't think of anything else you got all the expensive/major stuff covered though.

I vote BAP for your application. No dropping of the tank.

everybody says there used units are under 1k miles... etc... etc, however the more likely story is that they installed it and the tune was off and the engine blew.... make sure you know the history behind that unit before you install it

I'm working on this same project.

I called a local shop for $$ info on getting a tune.

They said $350 and hour, plus I have to buy a SCT tuner ($350) or chip ($250). Estimate around a 2 hour job for the tune.

Is this common? I don't see any posts that says, but a SCT or chip, etc

He wont need a SVT fuel pump and a BAP. One or the other. If he would do both, he would be overloaded with fuel.

I vote BAP. As mentioned above, no dropping of tank. And its only a 30 min or so install.
To go along with what else you need:

1)1* cooler spark plugs
2)Larger injectors
3)If you are going to get close to 450 hp/tq, New MAF
4)BAP
5)Tune

What all are you getting for the kit you bought?? did you get all the piping ect....intercooler?

Edit: Nevermind, didn't see you had listed it. my bad!LOL!
