Yeah, like on American Chopper when they dyno'd the brand new $10,000 + 4-stroke motor and it broke.
Ok. What do you think ALL the car manufacturers do? They dyno BRAND NEW motors. What do you think race motor builders do? Same thing. Go ask any of them. Call up Bill Mitchell and ask them. They fully dyno test EVERY motor they build. And they are one of the best race motor builders in the US. I personaly watched them dyno several new motors, including mine. Call them 1-866-225-9050.
Here is from there website.

Hardcore Motown 427 Crate Motor
With 427 cubic inches And Higher Compression, This Exclusive Hardcore Combination Is Ready To Kick Butt!

With a big bore (4.125) and a stroker crank (4.0) and a 10:1 compression, Bill Mitchell's brawny 427 c.i.d. small block can deliver over 500 horsepower with complete reliability. It is important to note that these engines are assembled with the same preparation, precision and quality control as our racing engines. There is absolutely no comparison between these and ordinary "crate" engines done by production rebuilders and the OEMs themselves--except for price. Hardcore 427 Motown crate engines represent exceptional values, any way you look at it. And remember, every engine is dyno tested to assure that performance levels are met or exceeded. You won't find this kind of power in ordinary crate engines from the factory!

A well spent $15,000.00
15K?

Where did ya get 600 lift 4.6 cams. Damm.

Are you plannin on spraying or something? Why all the work N/A, are you planning on a big shot or blower or something?
I will be N/A for a little while and then will be doing a 2 stage nitrous kit. As far as "why" all the work for N/A, I want to be mid-high 11's in a N/N daily friver 4.6 with full interior.

You plan on running 11s before the N20?

Is that a realistic bet? I know that MD is only running in the mid 11s on slicks, some suspension, and something like 420 RWHP.

I see you have a P-51 intake. Who did your heads? I have seriously considered doing heads/bottom end/intake and a N20 shot, but I was worried I still wouldn't match a blown car, and with all of the suddeness of a N20 shot was worryed about breaking something.

If he makes the goal of 350 N/A thats good for 12's. Then when he sprays, it will be a two stage 150 shot. So now total power should be above 500 rwhp! Thats sick nasty for a full weight daily driver! Good luck, Code!

VT built the custom built the long block and ground the cams from Crower blanks. Ken from MD is taking care of the tune and he is now running 10.8's N/A.
