mufflers which are best on a blown 97 gt

ok i have a 97 gt with a vortech s-trim , what is the best muffler for sound and performance or can you have both? only bad thing is i have old neighbors and cannot have the super loud mufflers.

It's all up to you man. We can't make a decision for you on what sounds best. Aftermarket exhaust are all going to flow about the same cat back wise so just get on youtube and start listening away.

If you have an X Pipe go Bassani. If you have an H Pipe go MAC.

WHAT??? I wouldn't ever put either one of those on my car! Bassani sounds terrible and it fairly quiet, and Mac, sounds like flowmasters. Sroney and tinny. Bad choices.
See Roger, this is why you have to choose for yourself as everyone has different opinions.

(there's more to it than just an x or h-pipe. Clearly he has never had LongTubes as they make the biggest difference!!!)
