Default What size drag wheels/tires?

I want to run a drag radial, which would be a better option, running a 315/60/R15 (30'' x 13.5'' - 15'') with this wheel?

Diameter & Width: 15 x 10''
Bolts & Bolt Circle: 5-4.5''
Back Spacing: 4.5''

Or running a 275/40/R17 on a stang wheel? Or a 315/35/R17 on a 10.5 rim like I am using now? And it that the correct bolt pattern and back spacing?

A 30'" tire would be super overkill dude.

That would be like runnin on 3.27s (or 2.73s if you have stock gears)

What kind of gear do you have in the car? I'd suggest puttin some 275/60s on there (28") The bolt pattern looks right, and Im not sure on the backspacing but it sounds correct also.

I will have 3.73 by next season. So a 275/60/R15 on a what 9 or 8 inch rim would be best?

Get the 275s, they should be near 28"

Anything taller would need a 4.30 gear or higher to take advantage of in our cars.

I'd go with a 9", but you could squeeze them onto 8s if you have to

I have a set of 315/35/17 on a 10.5 rim... and they seem to lock up pretty awesomely. They also look quite good aswell.

A 275/60/15 is about 28" tall

I guess the 315 is about the same at around 28"
I dont think he would need something that wide unless he's making some serious power

And I know how tire sizes work thanks....dont know what I was thinkin when I posted that

I will put some 275/60/15 on a set of cragar or jegs wheels and give it a shot. Anyone know if the bolt pattern and backspace is correct.
