Bolt-on horsepower?

Bolt-on horsepower?
Well, finally the paint job on my baby is almost done. I had the entire car painted in Dupont Chromalusion Fire Prizm Pure Fire and holy hell it looks absolutely amazing and it's not even finished yet!! Well, the looks part is down now with the paint and the 18" '98 Cobra rims with Nitto NT555 racing tires so now I'm thinkiing about adding some extra ponies into my pony. I wanna go with a Procharger kit but won't even think about it until later on near the end of next year because of the cost. What are some mods I can do that aren't going to be into the $1,000+ range? I also don't want to do anything redundant because I'm adding in a blower later so something like adding a K&N air intake wouldn't make sense ya know? I'm definitely gonna buy a Superchip later (easy 10-15% extra horsepower from what I've been told). Currently I just have a K&N air filter and a Bassani stainless steel full cat-back exhaust and x-pipe with cats. What should I do now? What does adding in an aftermarket pulley do and how do they work? Oh yes and this is for the '98 GT Convertible with stock engine.

headers, gears, intake and even some suspesion work. once you get the blower put on you should have a handheld tuner for the dyno. pulleys will have to come back off once the blower is installed.

Pi swap, headers, cams, and do them all on one shot, makes it alot easier. You can find some cams that work well for both N/A and when you have the SC. If you carefull when shoping for parts it can be done for about $1600.
