Default Questions on Fuel Pump...

Last week i went to the track but had no good luck with a sweet takeoff even with 295 bfg drag radials...
launches at 4000 rpms and bogging is that normal with drags?
i mean i know they are good tires but i kept hitting 9.0's the whle freaking night and couldnt hit an 8.9 or 8.8....

i have had the following symptoms over a coupld days and think i may need a new fuel pump...

in the mornings it takes about 2-3 times to turn on...
after that it runs perfectly...
do you think a bad fuel pump will make it supply less power for take-off?

Did you use o2 extensions for the front two sensors when you put the x pipe on? If so you may want to get it hooked to a computer to make sure they are running up to speed. Mine ran like crap until it was warmed up and bogged off the line just like that with drag radials leaving at the rev limiter. It was due to bad o2 extensions.

My sensors were working but were reading very slow. That's why they didn't throw a code. Only my tuner could see the problem.
