SVT focus fuel pump??

Well, I guess we'll see what's up with the Airtex fuel pump.
Airtex makes two pumps for the Focus:
E2448 with production date before 5/22/02
E2386 with production date after 5/22/02
I guess we'll just have to wait and see, since I already bought one. The description says something about "metal support rods", but we are installing these in the a different car.
Who knows?
