Default SVT focus fuel pump??

I bought one to use when I get my Novi on and I'm just wondering is there any difference in wiring, or is it the same as the stock fuel pump??

For now no I have 113k on the clock and it's not a built motor. I figure I'll run this motor till it goes then build something similiar to what your building. I'm working on getting a new job right now if I do the new motor will be coming sooner then I thought. Your in the military right??

You just have to take the pump outa the basket and slap the new one in. If you run 8 lbs with a good tune you should be able to run that stock motor until you get tired of it. Watch that focus pump though without a BAP. I burnt a valve at 10 lbs of boost due to a lean condition at 6500 rpms.

Yea I agree with contentsunderpressure, when mine was dynoed for the first time with a focus pump it was getting a little lean in the upper rpm, so we went with a corba fuel pump rated at 300lph and done the swap. Its made to work with are returnless fuel systems.

i read somewhere that you have to take the top part of the focus pump and swap it out with the stock one or something along those lines. is this true or will it bolt right up?

nope just disconnect the stock pump from the basket and install the new svt focus pump. Done in a hour, no problem. Change the fuel filter while your at it too.
