I should have asked this question first, exactly what are subframe connecotors good for? I looked it up on line and got alot of jibber jabber. For the guys that have installed the subframe-connects did the car ride better, performance etc., etc.,

What WASN'T wrong with mine would be a shorter list. The 'standard length' definitely DIDN'T cut it, and my car is only 310rwhp. My buddy basically tack-welded them with a 110TIG (not the 'frames fault, I know, but still part of what's pissing me off about them) and didn't put any kind of paint/corrosion inhibitor. The standard length sfc's also bend/warp when you try to jack your car up on them (I figured, since they were supposed to be 'frames' that they could be jacked against). The coating that came on them is JUNK, flaked off in TX in under 6 months (no snow, no ice, no salt). I think that's enough for now.

keeping the chassis stiffer, good for both straight line and twisties

what are they good for? a good subframe connector SHOULD prevent flex in the floorpan, which in turn prevents body roll. Basically, it's supposed to make the frame more rigid, which is a good thing. If you've ever seen a high-powered Fox without subframes launch at the track, you know what I'm talking about. The whole body twists. And, since you're putting stress on a METAL frame, there's only so much that said frame can take before it STAYS that way (it's called springback, but that's another story). Foxes were notorious for this problem, verts especially.
