Are all subframe connectors....
I will be installing some subframe connectors at the end of the month but can't decide which is best. On American muscle the price range is $99-$170.00. I know that just because it cost more dosen't make it a better product. Got a few questions for you guys...Are all subframe connectors the same? Which is better the weld on or the bolt on?

all subframes are NOT the same. End of story. I have a set of 'standard length' subframes from LRS on my car, and I absolutely HATE them. I have a builder here in IL that has some custom 'frames that he's going to install for me this winter, that go all the way back to the rear torque boxes. For those of you not so blessed, full-lengths are a requirement, especially for higher-hp cars (275+ IMHO). Welds NEED to be 220 MIG welds, and if the welds don't look like a row of dimes afterwards, have your shop cut 'em off and do 'em again. Round is better than square (no shear planes) and seat braces DO work. Oh yeah, and once the 'frames are in, you need to put some kind of corrosion-inhibiting paint on the welds (Krylon rattlecan works fine) or your floorpan brace (where they want to weld the subframes to) is going to rust out, and you'll be back at square one.

Sxynerd, What size square tube stock did you use? 1" or 1 1/2"? I got all kinds of square tube stock at were I work, I didn't even think of making them myself.
I've got a '99.. Where do you exactly run them from point to point and does anyone have pics of that?
Do you gotta take out the interior to do the seat bolting down part?
