Default 4.6 bottom ends

Which 4v 4.6's other than the 03 04 cobras has forged internals? Iknow none of the 2 and 3 valves are. Thanks

none except the other cobras have forged cranks and the manual mach 1 has a forged crank.

I don't know If i didn't have my pistons, i think my car would be worthless. The serve there purpose. The rods are the weakest parts in these engines. You allways hear of a rod going through the side of the block.

meh they do fine untill a little above the 400whp mark... ive seen em go with less as i've said before but its rare...

+1 on the connecting rods, definetely one of the first internal parts to give under boost. I think the 2V supercharged Saleen motors are forged, pretty positive they are anyway.

i wondered this myself.. they could always run conservitive boost and be right around the 380whp mark... idk maybe we should drop a post in the saleen section.

They should know. Coworker of mine just wrecked his after only having it for two weeks. He has a 2.0 pulley, but only got 9 psi. Tuner said the saleen charger was maxed out. But yea, they always seem to handle it pretty good.
