Same thread as all the rest. H's are deeper, X's are higher toned with slightly more peak hp.

+1. It's all personal opinion. For what it's worth, I ran an H-pipe and Flows on all of my Stangs.

what if youre on a budget, is it worth getting an h pipe though? i mean it already came with an h pipe stock. how restrictive is it anyway and how would if affect the over all sound compared to if i got an aftermarket one?

arbs, the h pipe that came with our cars is one of the worst things about them. If u get an o/r h you will absolutely get a better exhaust note out of your car, especially if you have a cat-back as well. The stock h is very restrictive(I know, I just put my o/r x back on 3 days ago, I needed the stock h to passs emissions). I have a Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back with an o/r x on my 97 GT, my dad has the same cat-back on his 02 GT with an o/r h. I like the sound of his car better, but its all up to you, its your car, but the o/r h sounds great. End of this thread.

I have an o/r x with my flowmasters and I have no complaints with the sound. I haven't heard an o/r H with flows in person, so I cant say for sure what sounds better, I just have no problem with how I sound.
