Default Cracked Bell Housing..

After the spec clutch install, the mechanic who installed my clutch noticed that I had a crack in my bell housing meausring about a 1/2 inch. He said that this needed to be fixed ASAP. The question that I have can this be welded or should I just buy a new one? How much do bell housing's cost and what am I looking at far as the labor cost's. Thanks guys any info would be appreciated.....

I say get a new one. You probably could find a person who would be able to weld it, but i'd worry about something happening down the road. It sucks that it happened, but i vote for a new one.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Getting dynoed in about two weeks and after that car is going up for the winter. Plan on installing gears (410's) and beefing up my suspension. Before I do all of that I get this fixed (Bell housing crack). Thanks for the advice...

Go find one in a junk yard. Should be less than $100.

you guys are thinking the 3650 bell is like a t5 bell, its not, its like a t45, i could go take a pic of my broken one if yall'd like.

i mena sure u can get the bell off, but its not simple 4 bolts on the outside, its about 10 on the inside, and im sure you cant just swap two over, with out reshiming and such
