ok a while back like 3 weeks ago i changed my front brake pads and rotors. i drove it around for 3 days and forgot to grease the sliding pins. so i jacked the car up and greased the sliding pins. like a week ago my brakes are starting to squeal. could it be i messed up my brake pads because i didnt grease the sliding pins or what thank you

Your pads shouldn't be messed up from that. Did you clean up all of the excess grease when you greased the pins? A tiny bit anywhere can make them squeek. Did you clean the new rotors off well with brake cleaner or carb cleaner?

if you used crappy pads (autozone specials) they will squel. and if you didnt grease the anti rattle clips the squel
