I usually beat my car on a regular basis (when the roads are dry), and my T45 has held up so far. I think it was ZW99GT with also a T45 that has held up while running lots of power through it. I believe 01GT4.6 (?) is in the same ballpark with his TR3650.

What can you guys tell me that the main difference was in the transmissions between the late 01s through the 04s?

But yeah, D&D has some great stuff though. That seems like a nice deal that they got going. OP, how many miles are on your car?
I have 66,000 miles on my car. This will be my second Rebuild if i dont get a new tranny which i am. Im not wasting my money with another rebuild unless i make it bullet proof? But then again i probably couldnt afford the labor.

As for the T45 and TR3650 difference. Supposeally the TR3650 is suppose to be way Stronger then the T45. But i hear more problems on the TR3650 then the T45. The TR3650 was an upgrade in middle of 2001 i think.

But yeah your right it is tremecs fault but still someone needs to pay for it, Not me. haha, but what can you do, life is unfair.

Can you elaborate on the TKO trans. what cars were these in? im guessing these are bad ***? is this a direct swap to my 4.6L GT? or do i have to buy other parts to make it work. what the benefits of this trans over a T56.?

It's amazing how there are TSB's for synchro problems for an 04 3650 and they still have synchro TSB's even on the 08 3650. You would think they would have fixed the problem.

I dont know what cars the TKO's came on but they are a pretty stout piece. The TKO500 will hold 500ft lbs torque and the TKO600 will hold 600 torque(because of the higher first gear ratio...dont know why) but there are places online that have the TKO tranny kits that come with everything you need to bolt it onto your car. And the only thing that i would really consider a reason why to go with a TKO over a T56 is that the TKO's are not as expensive...i think. and the TKO's are still a 5 speed not a 6 like the T56. And the regular T56 is only rated for like 450-500 torque. So i mean it all depends on what you wanna do with the car to what you buy.
