Default Steering shaft style??

Hey just wondering which steering shaft i should go with by flaming river, they both say they are a direct replacement. Now both fit my car but one is longer and has a pyramid style shaft. The other is not as long and is a splined end style instead of the pyramid style. What style fits my 97? Here is the one that i am looking at getting. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

here is the other one: that is longer and pyramid style

i was looking there but couldn't find anyone that gave a diameter of the shaft. Do you or anyone else happen to know? The reason i need a new one is because the headers i have bind up with the steering shaft whenever i go more than 1/2 throttle. You can't steer the thing lol.

i believe the ones from MM are made to clear long tubes and such where there are clearing issues. I would go ahead and give MM a call and get some advice.
