Default brenspeed 93 octane tune

hey guys. i got my tune from brenspeed today and loaded it to my car. Wasn't to impressed with it. the canned tunes that came with my tuner seemed to be just as good. I'm going to advance the timing all the way throughout the rpm range on the brenspeed tune, but there is an option to tweak the global spark. what exactly is this? if i advance the global spark would that apply to the whole rpm range ontop of the other advancements.

Going from one canned programmer tune to another wont make much of a difference. (I call it "canned" b/c your car was not tuned in person on a dyno, even if you gave your specific list of mods). All most canned tunes do for a bolt on GT is increase timing, thats where most of any power gain comes from, so there is only going to be a little variance between canned tunes, unless someone is just way off.

I have a Brenspeed canned tune and it's decent. The difference wasn't that much going from the stock tune, I didn't expect it to be, but after you drive around on the tune for a while, flash it back to stock and you will probably feel like the car is just slightly slower.

My understanding is that global spark affects spark at all rpms (idle, part throttle, full throttle)...when you see the spark listed for a specific rpm range, then it only affects WOT...

so global spark affects timing at every throttle position. while the rpm range options only affects it at wot. didnt know that. i'm going to try to max out the global spark i think max is 4 degrees advanced. if theres no pinging im good right
