what the heck is a sticky throttle?

I have a PP 75mm to go with my ACCUFAB plenum..high flow is all in the design of the plenum. For the most part a throttle bodies a throttle body. i paid like 130 or something for mine..I wouldn't buy anything else if i had to do it over again. Very shiny, looks extremley quality and does the job as good as anything else out there, if not better. I can't stand whisting BBK throttle body, although i hear the new one is suppose to be good.

The only bad part about the PP is installing the throttle cable...some WD40 and a hammer blow fixed that. I don't believe in drilling anything that cost 135 dollars...if it wouldn't go in i would of just returned it.

I have the new one...which is amazing.

And a sticky throttle blade is when you hit the pedal and it sticks, for a sec.

like what do you mean stick?
like a 'clicking' type of feel? to my knowledge all bigger blade TB do that, i mean what exactly is a sticking throttle? I would def. not drive any car with something like that

Mine don't I was explaining what these guys that have the PP throttle body are talking about. Its like the edge of the throttle blade catches, from what I understand. Like you push the pedal down and then yea it clicks and you rev really quick. That is hard to explain through typing. I think you have the idea though.

mine clicks and immediatley revs, no delay. My friends fox body also clicks too and he has a BBK. i dont think i've ever seen a TB that doesn't have a very slight 'clicky' feeling, its part of the result of a larger blade. Have you ever really got on the acclerator slow? I can't feel it on my car unless i'm trying to feel it but if i go real slow and lightly i can feel a little 'click' kinda feeling.
anywho, just sayin'. Can't go wrong with the PP. i've had good luck with it.

Yea I guess click and sticky have the same meaning in this case. I think is also has some what to do with a wear in process too. I suppose the edges get smoother and then the click would go away. Of course I am guessing here.
