Default nitrous with compression

hey i have y 97 gt and this winter i did a pi head swap. not i was wondering if i can still use nitrous like a 75 or 100 shot please i need some input.

High comp. engines LOVE the juice, however, they hate the boost.

Yeah. Im in the same boat and i am happy i choose the current set-up. High compression motors love nitrous and respond very well. Just make sure when you do this, you keep in mind that the stock "torque to yield" head bolts WILL release some stress and actually lift off the block. AND thats not good... make sure you choose right head gaskets and head bolts. I chose ARP head bolts and Fel-PRO headgaskets. Also keep in mind that the SOHC 4.6 isnt very strong. lol... so dont go crazy with the gas. 75 should be good.

I'm sure you mean the stock rods aren't very strong. The design of the SOHC 4.6L is tougher than nails.

the DESIGN of the 4.6L is rather tough, however the components used in it suck.
