Default Winterizing.. (For those of us that get snow)

What special precautions should i take while preparing my stang for winter(storage)?

I just bought the car Friday and it needed a tune up badly.. I changed the plugs.. Recharged the airfilter.. But i'm debating about changing the oil.. Not sure if i should do it now or wait till spring..

Anything else i should do? Top Off all fluids?

Do you mean you want to get it ready to drive for the winter or get it ready to store?

Any extra weight you can scavenge, put it in the trunk. Get an oil change anyways, they will top off fluids and give you a decent visual inspection. I mean they aren't that expensive!

You definitely want to change your oil before you store it then. This is what I do when I store mine:
- Put Sta-bil in gas tank and fill
- Disconnect battery
- dryer sheets under hood, trunk, and interior
- Damp-Rid or other moisture absorber in interior
- Put rags in exhaust tips
- Clean interior and exterior
- Change Oil and Filter
- Inflate tires to about 40 psi

It definitely does.
The one cool thing is when spring comes around and I start driving it again, it's almost like the day I bought the car.
