Default Car dieing while runing

Guy's i really need help sorry if this is not where i am supost to put this thread, but i really needs some help. My mustang is a 98 GT so this is what its doing the car starts rite up, but once it reaches its normal running temperature it will die, at 1st i thought it was my fuel pump since when the car is shutting down on its own it sound like if it was starving for fuel. The check engine light flashes as it's the car turns off but then i tried scanning it with my scanner and it does not find any codes any idea i have a feeling it might b a cam sensor that's what one of my buddy's mention though im not sure any help would b appreciated

one thing you can do to check if its a fuel issue is let it sit and warm up and when it does die, immediately go to the fuel rail and see if you have any pressure at the shrader valve. Thats a start.

It's......... VAPOR LOCK!!!!

AH... In all seriousness probably not, but it does have the symptoms. Just a little tidbit of info, which I so graciously recieved from my good friend who is a master tech at the local Ford dealer, never ever ignore a flashing cel. Have a qualified tech look at it.

By the sounds though, you are running dangerously lean at working temp and the ecu kills the engine for the safety of the engine. I'd look for leaks personally. Especially in the manifold area.

I had the same problem. My car would just die on me (cept mine was while idling.) If it's doing it while Idling it is the IAC (I believe...Idle air control valve?)

Bought the part from the dealer and installed it myself. Very simple and fixed my problem.
