I guess you really have no idea how Meth injection works do you?

To make it simple meth/water injection raises your octane to 116 for $1.50 for a gallon of windshield washer fluid and 110 octane race fuel cost $8+ per gallon. They both do the same thing by alowing you to run more timing but meth injection has the added feature of cooling the intake charge.

Unless he's running some kind of blower, the meth is really not needed at that compression for daily use and especially not needed with the nitrous shot

It's not needed but with it you will be able to make more power and keep your engine safer.

Here is a good read from AIS website. I have talked to the owner when I was buying my kit for about an hour and he realy knows his ****.

Yes we can all read from the website that sells that product... but n20 does it just as well if not alot better, but then you have the added complexity of another system and most truely h/c motors are going to require race gas anyway

You are truely dence.

RUNNING METH DOES THE SAME THING AS RUNNING RACE GAS BUT FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST.

Understand now?

A meth system is no compilcated, I installed mine in 30 min.

Okay well another question.

If I want to run 11:1 compression, can I run a flat-top piston and say .038" head gasket thickness? I'm trying to stay flat top.

umm no it doesnt meth cannot be used a substitute to run on a "truely high compression" engine (the context of the response w/ the o.p.).... and why exactly would you need to cool an intake charge on a motor running n20....

and a side note... is there a reason you have to be insulting to people?

Cooling the intake charge is a goal for any set up. The cooler the charge before the nitrous hits it the better.

Racers have been running meth/water injection since before you were born to increase the octane rating of their fuel. Meth can me used as a subsitute for race fuel.
