High CR and Nitrous

High CR and Nitrous
Okay so I've been told that running around 11.2:1 CR on a stock bore/stroke 4V is completely safe to run on 93 octane.
My question is how would a motor running something like that with a set of custom grind cams and ported heads handle nitrous? I've heard that if you modify the heads in some small way for the spray then there wouldn't be any problems.
Enlightenment welcome!

you might want race gas, but I dont think meth is necessary.... and yes I read the post about meth and n20 - still not sold on it. Your question about the top all depends on how much rpm your planning to spin, but generally yes.

Well the setup I've got planned out with Modular Performance and the guy who's going to do my heads will hopefully be making power to just around 7500. I'm only thinking about a 50-75 shot for when necessary, or to hit low 11's, high 10's.

you can hit 10's on the stock shortblock with spray, has been done a couple of times. mid-low 11's is no problem you can do that all motor on the stock shortblock
full bolt on's, 4.30-4.56's, slicks, some weight reduction, and beat the **** outta it and shouldent be a problem
as far as you doing the high CR i would just run race fuel

Oh I know it's possible. I'm just trying to build a mean street motor with a flat power curve for the street, but be capable of hitting a shot on the track to get that bit extra. I'm already running 4.30's with a set of BFG DR's in my garage.

I'd love to run something ridiculous, but this is my DD. John at Modular Performance recommended something like 11.2:1 max for 93 octane, netting me the flattest torque curve and most power for the money.
