Default Un-marrying XCal2 from car question

Ok so I am going to be selling my car in the near future and want to be able to sell my XCal2 as an unlocked programmer. I also want to put the car back to the stock tune.

Is it as easy as just plugging it in then say return to stock? What else needs to be done for it to be unlocked? Thanks in advance

Sweet, doesn't make sense why people sell locked tuners then...

Just make sure that the stock tune gets transfered to the pcm and the tuner will be unlocked.. hat simple.

And all that takes is following the directions on the XCal2 screen right?

Lazy, PCM blown, car got wrecked and hauled off (or PCM smashed), stolen tuner, sleazy SOB seller, etc.

it will still be locked to your VIN after returning to stock . you will need to download a program from SCT's site called "LiveLoad" , its free . install LiveLoad on your pc , open it & you will see an option to unlock .
