Default Door Adjustment Help

On my '00 the driver's side door has dropped about 1/4". Could someone tell me how to raise it back up?

put a new hinge pin in it. and if that doesnt fix it, loosen the hing bolts a little bit and get a friend to raise the door up.

I have the same problem on my passenger door. I hate it. You can hear the wind! Please tell me how easy it was to get this fixed.

Take it to a body shop for new pins and bushings. The parts don't cost that much, it is more in labor, just find a shop that will do it for ya. Unless you feel up to it, but you will need a hammer and a set of punches and a can of lithium grease.

My brother and I tried to undo the hinge bolts and adjust the door some that way. It's worse now than before. I'm going to take it to a body shop on Monday. The one my family has had good experience with in the past. I called him up and he said it probably needs new pin and bushings and it's not a big deal.

my passenger side door is almost like that, nobody notices until I point it out, it doesn't bother me much. You should get that fixed then get subframe connectors.

Default Update:

I took it to the body shop today and he said he can adjust it for me tomorrow for about $100.00. He called about new hinges which are $115.00 and with labor would be a total of $250.00 to have both hinges replaced. However, he said if it was his car he would just adjust the current hinges since it wasn't that bad.

Tomorrow I'm going to drop it off for the adjustment only.
