sorry to hi-jack the thread but, has anyone received any noticeable gains from deleting there AC?

Just don't turn your A/C on. There you go, A/C delete. It only robs horsepower when the compressor clutch is engaged. The compressor is like an idler pulley when it's not engaged.

But there is a good weight loss to be gained (or lost, lol) from taking out the compressor, condensor, and all the lines.

Weight loss is the only gain you get from an A/C delete.

how much does the compressor, condenser, and all a/c crap weigh? I don't ever use my a/c either, I just use heat/defrost sometimes.
