try checkin and or gettin new plugs.. that could always be an easy fix if not your IAC Valve. Also what weight oil are you running?? when its really cold out, running a thicker oil is actually more of a strain on your motor b/c the oil stays so cold it gets even thicker. try 5w20 0r 5w30.. maynot be the prob. but its definatly a better way to winterize your car especialy if you deal with long really cold winters.
