wipers and radio are dead! i need help
hey guys seems like my brother wanted to mess up the stang sooner than he expected...
it seems like an electrical problem maybe a fuse...
neither the wipers or the radio work after he tried to disconnect a ground wire while the car was on...
he says that the stereo(mach) only shows the clock but nothing else...
any info is great guys...
thanks

The wipers stopped working too? I would check all the fuses (under the dash AND under the hood). Maybe the wiper motor was wired through the radio (or accessory, not sure what our radios are fused to), and since the current is now lost for it, it wont turn on.

Lol that would have been interesting to watch. It's weird though that it's displaying a clock, your deck is getting power then.
Did he buy the connectors to plug into the stock amps? If he just started splicing into things you could have a big mess on your hands.
I'm not sure if that year is the same as mine, but I have the diagrams if you really get stumped I can ask for a favor and host them. But otherwise I would start by undoing what you did.
You might have blow the fuse for the wipers, but I don't really see how you do that installing a stereo o_O.
Take the stero out, and see if you still have the problem, then, go to walmart and buy the connectors for the mach system and PLUG your deck in.
