2001 transmission question

I am planning on getting the mgw short throw shifter and was wandering how you can tell whether you have the t-45 or the tremec 3650 on a 2001 mustang. Thank you in advance.

Look at the date your car was made. If it was made in the beginning of the year chances are you have a T45. If it was made in the middle to the end of the year then you have the 3650.
