Default Throttle Body spacer...does it work?

So Im thinkin of getting a throttle body spacer for my mustang. I was wondering if its work the $100 bucks. Has anyone seen any power gains from it? Any info would be great if. thanks

Save your money and save up for gears. TB spacer will do next to nothing on your mustang. I see you have a V6? Maybe an intake spacer will benefit you more, I am not too familiar with V6's.

^what they said...

...plus, so i'm not just adding to the post count; The spacers do make power on carburated engines and larger displacement engines with short runner intakes. If there are any gains on here our car it's nominal.

i got an intake spacer from American Muscle it was only $40 so i figured what the hell...i noticed a TAD more power bu then i bought a 70mm TB and both together i could feel a significant increase in throttle response and top end power....so in conclusion couple an intake spacer along with a tb or plenum or both and you'll be happy but i don't think the tb spacer is gonna do much

IMO if it cost 50 bucks or less and adds 1.5 hp that's enough for me. Everything counts right....

+1 - however, I'm sure most people wont buy a $36 spacer then go get a tune which sucks.

I am getting a tune soon, but the wife will kill me if I buy anything else.
