Default weird thing

lately, whenever i start my car and go somewhere and come to a harder stop within the first couple minutes of the car running, the rpms dip real low to around 200 or it'll turn off, any idea what it is?

the car idles right about 650 and i've had the alternator and battery checked and they're working properly

not sure, might be a brake booster issue.

yup. thats what it kind of sounds like to me. sorta like if your just sitting there in the driveway, you press down on your brake you will see or hear your rpms dip a bit then go back to normal. I would take it to a shop pronto. That is not something you want going while driving down the road.

its the brake booster, convert to manual brakes. I have had cars do the same in the past.

most people are too stupid to use actual manual brakes. they will lock them up easily. just get your booster fixed and you will be golden

its where you basically have no braking assistance at all. The pedal is more firm, no ABS at all. IF you press too hard you will lock up your brakes and most likely warp your rotors. If you have ever seen (and i hate to use this example) a nascar coming into the pits or when some are approaching a wreck. You will notice there is smoke coming from the wheels. That is a combo of the brake system being locked up and tires dragging. Manual brakes are not a bad thing, but they take getting used to. I will swap to manual brakes once all my suspension work is done and im ready to hit the track. Just to shave some weight for corner carving.

Manual brakes would be mean non-power, not just non-abs.
