Transmission Questions?
What kind of trans. is in the 96 Mustang GT 4.6L SOHC?? I do believe its the T-45 but I want a second opinion...
Also the trans. rebuild kits do they come with directions? Is it fairly easy for a mechanically inclined person? What all parts are included in the rebuild kit??
Any info is most appreciated!!!
Thanks,
~James~

Clutch Question?
For the King Cobra Clutch Kit it comes with a standard throwout bearing, could I put a centerforce throwout bearing??

RE: Clutch Question?
I rebuilt a T5 a few years ago, seems like it had directions?
The one I got had every bearing and washer and clip that could be replaced, cant remember where I got it.
It had about 200K on it, 2nd syncro was wore out and 3rd was about gone.
It wasnt hard, just LOTS of parts to keep up with.
Have a large clean undisturbed area to work in and lay the parts out in order as you take it apart.
It would help to have a digital camera and take lots of pics as you go to refer back to.
the T/O bearing lasted 100k+ when it was sold
