Too much.

You'd be better off buying a catted mid-pipe.

It all depends where you live if you should gut the cats. A cop pulls you over where I am and check for cats and there gone, instant $500 fine for EACH cat missing.

In VA it's a $10,000 fine and impundment of car on the spot.

The cats would seriously make a 3-4hp difference tops.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!! 2000 fine, if i would have known that, i wouldn't have put a O/R hipe on mine. Sounds good, but not that good. I just installed my MIL eliminators about 10 minutes ago, im kinda worried though. Its just spliced in there and covered with electrical tape. I think i should put some kind of waterproof/heat proof shield over the wires. They had some kind of fabric stuff they were wrapped up, but i couldn't stretch it enough to cover my wires.any ideas. SORRY not trying to steal your thread

it was like 200$ for the magnaflow cats, they are worth it. you need cats unless its a drag strip only car. the magnaflows sound good too

I'm thinkin about gettin mine cut off too, and gettin a O/R x-pipe , is there a difference between a X or H pipe ? which makes more power ? In my state if your car is past a certain year, they just hook up a computer to your car anc make sure that everything is fine with it, they dont sniff exhaust anymore.
