it's not going to happen

if you have to get on here to ask, you dont have the cash

shoot for 400 with a blower and breathing mods.. end of story

lol you'll need alot of stuff, heres a rough estimate

Turbo or superchager with supporting mods installed $6k (atleast)

A forged rotating assembly oh gah..idk $4k?

31 spline rear end with new axles $600

New transmission $2k or something

labor prob around $2-4k as well

go for it! i know i forgot stuff too

Seriously the only way practical with the stock block is a supercharger/turbo setup. You will need a hell of a fuel system. You might be able to cut it staying returnless with at least 60 lb/hr injectors, 03/04 cobra fuel hat with svt focus pumps and a big MAF. Of course you will need an intercooler at that high of hp why would you have to ask? When you forge the bottom end you will need to get dished pistons to lower compression. I would go to someone as far as tuning with that radical of a setup.

harsh? meh i agree completely, how many people have we seen on here make these threads mutlitple times then just fade off the boards? even if he gets 600whp i bet he takes it to a high 12 because if you have no idea how to make power you've most likely never been to a track, this summer i saw a 597whp GT run h is way to a 13.1.... amazing.

i wasnt trying to be harsh..

its just that if you have the cash to make 600 hp, it seems like you'd go to a reputable mustang builder,,, not an internet forum

dont get me wrong, i love dreaming, but that's exactly what this is,,,,dreaming...

hell, 400 hp is more than enough for 90% of us im sure..
