Default Will this hurt my car?

I just bouth a roush side exhaust and found out that they wont fit my car because my car is convertible and it has subframe connectors. My question is, if i take the subframe connectors off the car, would this hurt my car in any way? this is my daily driver and i dont go to the track!!

why wouldn't someone fix your car because of subframe connectors?? they prob wont fix your car becuse it is a roush. You might have to go to a roush specialist or maybe an svt dealer like you do with the cobras.

stang what are you talking about? irrelevant post... Yes it will hurt your car if you take out the subframes. They are real important on verts because they dont have a roof to hold them together. You would be compromising the structural integrity of your car. I would think that eventually things like door gaps would start to get messed up and the parts would start to sag.

A easier, safer, and prbably way cheaper route is to take it to an exhaust shop and have them fab something up with the mufflers of your choice

I'm no expert, but I wouldn't mess with it. A convertible needs some extra chassis work to give it the rigidity that a hardtop naturally has. You'll find several under-car parts will specify whether or not they will work on a vert. I'd call roush and see if they make a side exit for your app.

Roush does make subframe connectors for the convertible roush with side exhaust. I only want to take them off untill i buy the roush one. I dont intend on leaving my car without subframe connectors

I would wait on installing anything until you get the all the proper parts you need for the install.
I agree on the 2nd post, WTF are you smoking and are talking about???
