Default How to check....

How do I check if my car is already tuned or not? I just bought the car a couple months ago and because of the other thread i posted I think my car might already be tuned but im not sure. what led me to think this was that while accelerating i hear a pinging of knocking noise at about 3k. but when i run a higher octane i don't notice it. it might still be there but i just can't hear it.

You can take it to a Dyno shop, and they will hook it up for a small fee, and check the A/F, and see if it's running lean, rich, etc.

dont overlook the obvious..you may just have something in **** poor condition. run some in injector cleaner, use some seafoam, change the spark plugs, (read them while your at it) change the fuel filter and see what happens.
