I got a new set of headlight bulbs for my '99 GT for Xmas and those stupid rings that hold the bulbs on the headlight housings don't want to go back on the way they should.
They came right off, but getting them back on is a different story. I'm fighting with them and they just don't want to go on right, they go on crooked, they don't want to catch the threads and when they do they go on crooked or spin and pop right off.
Anyone got any ideas, tips, to make this PITA easier??
Has anyone else ever had this problem with the new edge cars??

Sometimes you just got to fiddle around a little with it to get it to seat right. Not sure about your's but mine have different size tabs at each end to make sure you get it in right. Make sure the right size tab is going in the right size slot.

Did you put the bulb in the ring first? I know on some Fords you have to put the bulb thru the ring, then twist the ring into the light. Not put the bulb into the headlight then twist the ring on.
