Brake light/running light mod

I remember someone posting a how to on rewiring the innermost light on our taillights to get them to light up for running lights and when you brake. Also, is there a flasher unit that can be spliced into the loom to do a poor mans sequential turn signal?

for the 3 lights..... i made the for my friends:

you need to go to a junkyard and pull apart bulbs in fords and get a pair of pliers and pull the pins u need one for each side, then you wire the pin about 8 in long of wire. push the pin in the empty slot on the inner bulb and splice into the wire goin to one of the other bulbs.

sorry im tired but thats the jist of it, if you want more info or got any questions just OM me. or maybe others will be more clear

Yeah that was a bit vague but at the same time I think I get it! LOL!

So if I understand right you are saying the innermost bulb and socket cannot be used or is it just the bulb that needs to be replaced in the innermost socket? It sounds like you are saying that I need to pull a socket from another 'stang that is either the middle or outermost and splice that into the loom, power wire to either the middle or outermost and ground to, well....., ground! Right? This should get all three to light up rather than the middle and outer?

Any idea how to get them to go sequential without having to buy the kit?

John
