I noticed today that the fan never shuts off. Anyone know what it could be? The engine doesnt run hot. Could it be the fan motor or is there something else it could be?

I figured this may have happened to someone before but I guess i'll go to the basic troubleshooting tips. This will be a fun weekend. New Tires,Flush radiator, fix fan, fix cd player. Other than that the car runs like a top.

Hey be glad that your fan is at least running. On my car the fan motor went out and the car started to overheat. The motor cost $100 but it was any easy job to replace.

HAHAHA thats exactly what I was thinking. It just bugs me a little. But atleast its not going to overheat anytime soon. I still need some help with it but tomorrow is work on car day so I'll have everything hopefully up and running perfect then.

PM Vshayes and ask to ask her hubby about the fan mod he did to his car. Or maybe JD knows. He put a switch to control the on/off of the fan.

You mean like he can now control when the fan is on? Thats cool but I want it to be original. Im just going to fix it.

Dude, me **** did the same thing. YOu may have a bad CTS....when I did my pI swap I left one out for a while and got a check engine light and the fan ran whenever the car turnded on[&:] So that sucked but you mae have a bad coolant temp sensor.
